Diagnostics

Not sure what's wrong? We diagnose it first. Our technicians use systematic testing and inspection to identify the root cause

Equipment Diagnostics

Pump not priming? Filter pressure off? Heater not firing? Automation acting up? We systematically test your equipment — pump, motor, filter, heater, valves, and automation controllers — to pinpoint what's failing and why before recommending any repair or replacement.

Electrical, Lighting, and Plumbing Diagnostics

Flickering lights, tripping breakers, GFCI faults, dripping unions, and leaking valves all start with figuring out exactly what's wrong before touching anything. We diagnose pool lighting, basic electrical issues, and plumbing problems including leaking unions, valves, and fittings. For serious electrical work, we refer directly to our trusted licensed electrician partner — so you're never left searching for someone on your own.

About Diagnostic Fees: Service call and diagnostic fees vary depending on the complexity of the issue, travel, and time required on-site. We'll always be upfront about fees before scheduling — just call us at (623) 252-9229 or submit a request below and we'll walk you through what to expect.

Equipment Repairs

Pool Repairs

Once we've diagnosed the issue, we get it fixed fast with quality parts. All repairs include a clear written estimate before work begins.

Pump and Motor Repair

A failing pump means stagnant water and chemistry problems fast. We diagnose motor failures, impeller issues, and seal leaks — repairing or replacing units to restore proper circulation.

Filter Repair & Replacement

Sand, cartridge, or D.E. — we service all filter types. From torn grids and cracked tanks to full replacements, we get your filtration back up to spec quickly.

Pool Light Replacement

Flickering, dim, or completely dark? We replace pool lights safely and up to code.

Plumbing Repair

Leaking unions, cracked valves, worn o-rings, and failed seals put stress on your entire equipment system and don't fix themselves. We repair and replace all pool plumbing components — unions, valves, o-rings, seals, and PVC fittings — and find the source before it becomes a bigger problem.

Equipment & Technology Upgrades

Upgrades

Older equipment works harder, costs more to run, and breaks down more often. Upgrading to modern, energy-efficient equipment pays for itself — we handle everything from recommendation through installation.

Variable Speed Pump

Variable speed pumps use up to 90% less energy than single-speed models. They run quieter, last longer, and are required by Arizona energy codes for new installations. Typically pays for itself within 1–2 seasons.

Filter Upgrade

Upgrading to a high-performance cartridge or D.E. filter improves water clarity, reduces backwashing frequency, and lowers long-term chemical demand. We size and install the right filter for your pool.

Pool Automation

Control your pump, lights, heater, and water features from your smartphone. Systems like Pentair IntelliConnect and Hayward OmniLogic make managing your pool effortless and integrate with existing equipment.

Salt Chlorine Generator

Convert to saltwater for softer, gentler water with automated chlorine production. Lower chemical costs, less eye irritation, and a more pleasant swim experience — we handle the full conversion and setup.

Chemistry Upgrade

Borate Treatment

One of the most underutilized upgrades in residential pool care. A single borate treatment at 30–50 ppm delivers lasting water quality improvements that carbonate chemistry alone can't achieve.

PH Stability

Borates act as a true pH buffer against rises — the most common pH problem in Arizona pools. Unlike baking soda, borates buffer pH without increasing total alkalinity, giving you more stable water with less intervention.

Algae Prevention

Borates are a proven algaestat — they disrupt algae cell wall development, metabolism, and division at the cellular level, slowing growth before it starts. Especially effective in Arizona's heat where algae thrives.

Reduced Chemical Use

By stabilizing pH and inhibiting algae, borates reduce your pool's chlorine demand. You'll add acid less often, use less algaecide, and have more consistent water chemistry between service visits.

Salt Pool Benefit

Salt chlorine generators naturally drive up pH, requiring frequent acid additions. Borates slow that pH rise significantly — reducing acid dosing and protecting your salt cell from calcium scaling.

Water Fell & Clarity

Pool owners consistently report that borate-treated water looks clearer and feels noticeably softer and silkier. At 50 ppm, borates are safe for swimmers and pets at normal pool water consumption levels

Long-Lasting

Unlike most chemicals, borates don't degrade or get used up. They're only lost when water is replaced. One treatment lasts until your next drain — making it one of the best value upgrades per dollar spent.

Target level: 30–50 ppm borate. Applied once per fill cycle. Especially recommended for salt water pools and pools with chronic high pH. Ask us if borates are right for your pool.

Specialty & One-Time Services

One-Off Services

Some pool problems need more than a weekly visit. Our specialty services tackle the big jobs with the right equipment and expertise to do it right the first time.

Acid Wash

Strip years of staining, scale, and algae from your plaster. Ideal for pools that have been drained or have deep-set discoloration that can't be brushed away.

 Waiver Required

Chlorine Wash

A gentler alternative to an acid wash — eliminates heavy algae and organic buildup without aggressive surface treatment. Great for older or more delicate plaster.

 Waiver Required

Green Pool Cleanup

Aggressive shocking, algaecide treatment, vacuuming, and full chemistry rebalancing — our green-to-clean service restores water clarity.

Filter Cleaning

A dirty filter doesn't just reduce water clarity — it strains your pump, drives up energy costs, and shortens equipment life. Our one-time filter cleaning service covers full disassembly, thorough cleaning of all grids or cartridges, and reassembly with a pressure check to confirm proper flow is restored.

Salt Cell Cleaning

Calcium buildup on your salt cell reduces chlorine output and shortens its lifespan. We clean and inspect your cell to restore peak output and protect your investment.

One-Time Clean

Full brush, vacuum, skim, filter check, and chemistry test. Moving in, starting the season, or just need a fresh start — no ongoing commitment required.

Acid Wash & Chlorine Bath Notice: These services require a signed liability waiver prior to scheduling. Existing plaster condition affects outcomes and surface wear may become more visible after treatment. Our team will assess your pool and walk you through expectations before any work begins.
